New House

Heeeeeeyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!
Well, we're in our new house in D.C., well, actually it's Virginia near DC., and 'tis pretty cool. We've been unpacking and getting some sight-seeing done in D.C., and I must say the Smithsonians are pretty cool.  We're still checking out the churches in the area, but we went to a Presbyterian one today, er rather yesterday I guess, and it seemed like it might be ok, but the sermon was on giving, which always makes it hard to tell what the normal services are like. There were a lot of people my age though, so that was a plus. What we saw of the church seemed pretty good. I've started playing guitar and working out again after the long road trip break, and both have been hard lol. Things are pretty cool around here. I'm looking for a job at the mall and the stores in the area where I live, and there are quite a few openings, so hopefully I'll get one, and soon, but if not: Well, I probably wouldn't have posted in this long of a time even if I hadn't moved, so I guess the move was a plus for that part of my life, if not for the friendship part of my life; I'm missing out on a summer of fun(work...) with James and Ben by being here, so you guys had better have enough fun for 3 people since I won't be there. Well, this post is definitely long enough, better end it before it gets out of control and takes over my life.

Growing pains hurt in a good way

Growing closer to God can be the most painful thing, but the reward of it is well worth it. Finding this out as God draws me closer to Him.

God's Grace

Well, it's Sunday morning, and the sun is shining! My family was going to go to Bellows, but we cancelled because of the weather, which right now is pretty nice. It's a great morning. I can really see God's grace towards me today, He helped me through some stuff today, and I'm pretty sure today is going to be awesome. I'm going to play during the offering today with Ben, Mac(Pastor Pete's nephew), Ereke Bruce(who apparently can sing really well), and  Hannah. We were messing around last night, and Ben got out a song that we all knew, and it worked so well that he decided to use it for offeratory since we didn't have anyone else to do it lol. So, I'm taking the electric guitar to church today, and I'm going to rock the house down, or however you say that.

ttyl!

Five AM Wake Up Call!!!

VOTD: Eph 6:10 "Be strong in the Lord, and in his mighty power."

It's time for you're 5 AM sore throat wake up call!!! I think this is the definition of, "Grumblecakes"...

j/k lol...

Well, aside from waking up in, what is to me the middle of the night last night was pretty cool(actually, waking up early was cool too lol). I went to the Chris Tomlin concert last night, and it was quite the experience. Here's the story: Ben and I drove off around 6:30ishmaybeidunno...anyways I grabbed some dinner, and some money for the concert, and we headed out! While we were driving it started to pour down rain, and the streets started to flood! After a parking Odessey(it's own little miny adventure) we got to the big huge convention center place where Christian conferences have been happening since thursday, and attempted to buy tickets, only to find that they were: SOLD OUT. Well, we saw some of my friends who had come with their church's youth group, and, after Ben and I had walked back to the parking garage they called us and said they had extra tickets!!! YES!!! (I thought God might do something like that, hehehe...He does cool stuff like that ) And so we got in! Pretty loud, good music. A bit difficult for me to worship, but that was kind of my own problem. My throat hurts. Afterwards when we went to buy cds(2 for $20 YESH!) we found out Chris Tomlin wasn't signing any, DOHH. But we saw him as he was leaving, and Ben got to talk with him, so that was pretty cool. Arg, being hungry and having a sore throat is definitely not a good combination...later.

Pink shirts!? =P

Lol, so I guess I didn't get my soul stolen by Xanga, yesss!(I guess I have to use the Kip voice too...). I've been so busy lately, and yet haven't gotten much done, it's so wierd. I didn't go to work today, and I've only gone on mondays lately, but I haven't gotten fired yet. Parents are gone, and although the official estimate is 2 more days till my brothers and I burn the house down, I believe that it's going to happen tonight. That's a funny smiley lol. Not all that much else to write about 'cept Squales(Squids and whales mixed together), and I really don't think that's an appropriate topic. Laters.
